Valentine’s Day Sparkle

It seems like it was just Christmas, and now Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!  If you are going to be making any cards for the special people in your life this year, Niki has some inspiration for you using our rhinestone sticker sheets.

You can either cut a straight trim piece with scissors by following the grid lines between the rhinestones, like this . . .

and since the rhinestones are a soft resin material, you can even cut fun shapes, like the one on the left of this card

or even the little bow and heart on this cute little raccoon . . . yes, you can cut curved shapes with our rhinestone sticker sheets!!!!

Rhinestone Covered Rubix Cube

It is so much fun to take something old and make it new again.  When I think of the ’80’s I think of things like roller skating, Pac Man, boomboxes and Rubix Cubes.  So, when I found some Rubix cubes and I was trying to think of something fun for the Craft and Hobby Trade Show display . . . well . .. you can see what happened.

And it was SO EASY TO DO!  I simply cut the rhinestone sticker sheets with my Westcott non-stick scissors, into 5 gem wide stripes.  Then I cut those into 5 gem wide squares.  I peeled off the backing to expose the adhesive on the back of the sticker sheet and stuck those squares right over the colors on the cube.  I had the whole cube covered in rhinestones in a matter of minutes . . . can you IMAGINE how long it would have taken me to do this if I had to glue each rhinestone on one at a time!

The best part . . . you can still turn the sides of the cube and really use it!

Check out my blog for a photos of this, and other projects, from our booth at the CHA Mega Show this year . . . just click here and here.

After Holiday Bling Makeover

Today Stephanie is going to show us a fun way to add some bling to hide a label on soap dispenser.

You could use this same idea for any item around your house that has a label you don’t want to see.  Check out Stephanie’s blog to see the before and after photos by clicking HERE.
