I wanted to share some tips for getting the best cuts with your Dazzling Diamonds Rhinestone Sticker Sheets from The Buckle Boutique
These rhinestone sticker sheets are available in a variety of colors and can be cut with scissors, a craft knife or a die cutting machine.
Because the 3mm “stones” are actually a gel or soft resin substance, they can be cut down the middle. The stones are continuous and butt up against each other on the entire sheet. No spaces! They are great if you wish to cover an entire surface quickly and easily.
Our Design Team Coordinator, Shawn Mosch has agreed to share some tips she has for cutting a variety of shapes using her Cricut machine.
These rhinestone sticker sheets are a great way to add some sparkle to cards, scrapbook layouts and home decor projects.
Some tips for working with this product when cutting with your Cricut
- Use a deep cut blade
- Place your blade depth at 6
- Use a mulit-cut of 3 or 4 depending on how new your blade is
- Put your speed on slow
- Place the product face down on the Cricut cutting mat, making sure it is in a very sticky spot. I usually run my hand over it to really make sure it is stuck down.
- Flip Mode on your Cricut (since you have the product upside down, you need to flip the cut for the image to be correct when you flip it over)
